Heidi Klum is flaunting her figure while soaking up the sun.
In a Saturday, January 3, Instagram post, Klum, 52, posed while laying back on a wooden platform on top of a brown beach towel. While opting for no bikini top, Klum closed her eyes and covered her chest with her hands as she wore a pair of brown bikini bottoms.
Klum lay alongside a body of water, with hills in the background and the sunset behind her.
“Golden hour ☀️,” she captioned the snap.
Days before the upload, the model ditched her top while wearing red bikini bottoms and watching the sunset beside husband Tom Kaulitz — who placed his arm around her waist as they stared off into the distance. (Klum and Kaulitz, 36, announced their engagement in 2018 before tying the knot one year later.)
“Happy contented and GRATEFUL 🥰,” she wrote via Instagram, translated to English, on Wednesday, December 31. “Our last sunset for this year. Ready and open for anything that comes. Let’s go 2026 !!!!! Love is life ❤️.”
Ahead of the posts, Klum got candid about her decision to share photos of her body on social media.
“I’ve always been very open with my body. When I’m suntanning in the backyard, I might not have a top on,” she told People in July. “I’m European … my kids don’t know me any other way and are probably more easygoing with their bodies because of it.”
Klum, who has four children with ex-husband Seal, previously shared that her kids have to remind her to put on a shirt when their friends are coming to the house. (Seal, now 62, adopted Klum’s eldest child, Leni, after she welcomed her daughter with ex-boyfriend Flavio Briatore. Seal and Klum went on to welcome kids Henry, 20, Johan, 19, and Lou, 16.)
“Obviously, when you know, no one is there. I’m in my garden also, you know, I’m topless,” Klum shared during a 2024 “Call Her Daddy” podcast appearance. “And they will come, like, ‘You know, my friend is coming over, mom, put your top on.’ And I’m like, ‘When have I ever not had a top on when your friend was coming over? Of course, I will.’”
“But they always make sure. ‘Mom, just a little warning what’s going to happen here,'” she continued. “And I’m like, ‘Don’t worry.’ I also don’t want to flash anyone just to flash someone. I just don’t love tan lines.”
During the podcast, Leni, now 21, echoed Klum’s admission.
“I would have birthday parties at the house. Or I’d have friends over, like my boyfriend over. And she tans topless by the pool,” Leni said. “And I remember having my girlfriends over and I’d be so embarrassed and like, scared, because usually in like my friend’s families, I never see their moms tanning naked at the pool.”
“But I thought it was normal,” Leni continued. “And my friends would always be like, kinda stand-offish but it was just so normal in our family.”
