Justin Bieber is a Grammy-winning pop star who rose to fame as a teen idol and became one of the bestselling music artists of all time. Bieber was raised in Stratford, Canada, where he learned to play piano, drums, guitar and trumpet as a child, primarily teaching himself. As a teenager, he focused on performing locally and uploading cover songs to YouTube.

In 2008, Bieber was discovered on YouTube by music manager Scooter Braun, who introduced him to Usher. He signed a record deal shortly after and released his debut EP, My World, in 2009. The project produced hits including “One Time” and quickly turned Bieber into a global phenomenon. His debut studio album, My World 2.0, followed in 2010. The album featured the chart-topping single “Baby” and cemented his status as a pop superstar.

Over the years, Bieber evolved musically with albums including Believe (2012), Purpose (2015), Changes (2020) and Justice (2021). Throughout his career, the singer has scored multiple Billboard No. 1 hits, including “Sorry,” “Love Yourself” and “Peaches” and has been nominated for over 25 Grammy Awards. He scored his first Grammy win in 2015, taking home the award for Best Dance Recording for “Where Are U Now,” alongside Diplo and Skrillex.

The singer was in a high-profile relationship with Selena Gomez from 2010 to 2018. He was later linked to Sofia Richie. In 2018, he got engaged to model Hailey Baldwin, and the two wed later that year. The couple welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues Bieber, in 2024.
