Jax Taylor

Jax Taylor (born Jason Michael Cauchi) is an American reality TV personality known for his breakout role on the hit Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules. Taylor spent his childhood in Shelby Township, Michigan, and attended Michigan State University before leaving to pursue modeling and entertainment opportunities. He served in the Navy for a brief period before transitioning into a career in Los Angeles.

Taylor worked as a model and appeared in campaigns for brands including Abercrombie & Fitch before joining the cast of Vanderpump Rules in 2013. As one of the original members, he quickly became a central figure on the Bravo series, which followed the lives of restaurant employees working for Lisa Vanderpump. His on-screen relationships and personal storylines helped drive the show’s early success.

In addition to Vanderpump Rules, Taylor has appeared on its spinoff, The Valley, as well as various reality competition series, including House of Villains. He has also launched business ventures and remained a fixture in the reality TV space. In 2025, he began hosting the “In the Mind of a Man” podcast and later revealed he was recovering from a cocaine addiction.

Taylor began dating Brittany Cartwright in 2015, and the pair wed in 2019. The couple welcomed their son, Cruz, in 2021. Cartwright filed for divorce in 2024.
