Christian Siriano

Christian Siriano is a fashion designer and the winner of the fourth season of Project Runway. While working part time at a salon, Siriano began learning how to sew and was later invited to create clothing for the salon’s hair shows. He attended an arts school in Baltimore and fostered an interest in both musical theater and fashion during his time there. After high school Siriano hoped to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, but after being rejected he studied abroad in London, later moving to New York City.

Siriano worked in freelance design before being encouraged to audition for the fourth season of Project Runway in 2007. After being selected for the show, he went on to win the most challenges of any designer during that season, advancing him to the show’s finals. The designer walked away with high praise from celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and made history as the show’s youngest winner at age 21.

The designer has since created a successful self-titled label, opened his first flagship store in 2012 and published his book, Fierce Style: How To Be Your Most Fabulous Self, in 2019. Siriano rejoined Project Runway as a mentor in 2019 and has remained on the show since.

He wed to singer-songwriter Brad Walsh in 2016, and the couple split in 2018. The designer entered a relationship with designer Kyle Smith shortly after their split.
