Fresh off the marketing success of Mathieu Blazy’s debut for Chanel, the frenzy over the buying the first collectsion, Chanel now drops something new: Price increases for much of its core collectsion: including the Classic Flap, 2.55, Boy Bag, Chanel 19, Chanel 22, and Chanel 25. As of April 2, US prices are up 2-5%, EU 2-4%. The Classic 11.12 Flap is now $11,700.

It’s not a complete surprise; there’s been speculation across the board for a couple of weeks. And, if you’re keeping track, Chanel’s last price increase on its Classic Flap bags was eight months ago, in August 2025, and the Chanel 25 price jumped in November 2025. 

Blazy’s newest selections, like the ultra-coveted Maxi Flap Bag, are largely safe from price adjustments. But, in the EU, the Preppy Coco line was  marked up. The U.S. remains unchanged in that category — for now. 

Let’s take a closer look at how the latest U.S. price adjustments play out across Chanel’s most coveted lines.

Most Classic Flap sizes rose by $400, translating to increases between roughly 3% and 4%. The Classic 11.12 now sits at $11,700, while the Classic Maxi reaches $13,200 — continuing its steady climb deeper into five-figure territory. Increases for the 2.55 style (other than Blazy’s new reinterpretation) were the same. Smaller formats, including the Minis and Wallet on Chain, rose roughly $150 to $200. 

Price increases for the über-popular Chanel 25 line fell in this range, notwithstanding the aggressive price spike imposed just a few months ago (November 2025). Core leather options, including grained and shiny crumpled calfskin increased around 3% to 4%, while denim and raffia variations rose by less than 2%. Hit harder were select materials, like suede calfskin, where prices rose nearly 5%. 

Across Chanel’s other lines, the increases continued in the 2-4% range, with variation among lines.

For the Chanel 22 models, the repricing translates to an across-the-board increase of around $200. The Chanel 19 price rose by $300 (just over 4%), while the line’s Wallet on Chain increased by $100. 

Most Boy Bag versions saw price increases between $100 and $200, with percentage changes largely under 3%. 

Prices rose across Europe 2-3%, slightly less than that in the US. Notably, the Preppy Coco line was affected, as select styles increased by approximately €100. 

For the Classic Flap and 2.55, Mini styles increase by €100, while Small sizes and larger formats increased by €200.

The Chanel 25 saw slightly smaller increases than the U.S., following a similar pattern: Minis added about €100, while Small, Medium, and Large sizes typically rose by €200, depending on material.

When it comes to the other core lines,  including the Chanel 22, Chanel 19, and Boy Bag, price increases were similarly in the 1.5 – 3% range.
